Purpose

View detailed information for product lots.

Overview

Use Lot Management Inquiry to display lot information.

To limit the data displayed, you can filter lots by:

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button

Description

Exit

Click this button to close the Lot Management Inquiry window.

Show Data

Click this button to display lot information in the Lot Detail grid based on the selected criteria.

Inventory Matrix

Click this button to display Inventory Matrix Inquiry for the selected lot. This button is only available if the Lot Detail tab is displayed.

Lot Audit Inquiry

Click this button to display Lot Audit Inquiry, which allows you to view audit information for lots. This button is only available if the Lot Detail tab is displayed.

Notes

Click this button to display Notes Entry, which allows you to view notes for the inventory lot. This button is only available if the Lot Detail tab is displayed.

Additional Lot Information

Click this button to display Additional Lot Information, which allows you to view manufacturer lot information for a selected lot-tracked product. The icon for this button includes a check mark if manufacturer lot information exists. This button is only available if the Lot Detail tab is displayed.

Select Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

All Categories

Select this check box to view lot information for all product categories. This check box is selected by default.

Category Code

Enter a product category code, or click the Lookup button to select a product category code. For information on setting up product categories, see Product Category Maintenance. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Categories check box.

All Subcategories

Select this check box to view lot information for all product subcategories. This check box is selected by default.

Subcategory Code

Enter a product subcategory code, or click the Lookup button to select a product subcategory code. For information on setting up product subcategories, see Product Subcategory Maintenance. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Subcategories check box.

All Product Lines

Select this check box to view lot information for all product lines. This check box is selected by default.

Product Line

Enter a product line, or click the Lookup button to select a product line. For information on setting up product lines, see Product Line Maintenance. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Product Lines check box.

All Styles

Select this check box to view lot information for all product styles. This check box is selected by default.

Product Style

Enter a product style, or click the Lookup button to select a product style. For information on setting up product styles, see Style Maintenance. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Styles check box.

All Products

Select this check box to view lot information for all products. This check box is selected by default.

Product Code

Enter a product code for a lot-tracked product, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. For information on setting up a lot-tracked product, see Product Maintenance. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Products check box.

Name (Product)

Enter a product name for a lot-tracked product, or click the Lookup button to select a product name. For information on setting up a lot-tracked product, see Product Maintenance. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Products check box.

All Locations

Select this check box to view lot information for all locations. This check box is selected by default.

Prefix

Enter a location prefix, or click the Lookup button to select a location prefix. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Locations check box.

Name (Location)

Enter a location name, or click the Lookup button to select a location name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Locations check box.

All Suppliers

Select this check box to view lot information for all suppliers. This check box is selected by default.

Supplier Code

Enter a supplier code, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier code. For information on setting up suppliers, see Supplier Maintenance. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Suppliers check box.

Name (Supplier)

Enter a supplier name, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier name. For information on setting up suppliers, see Supplier Maintenance. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Suppliers check box.

All Lots

Select this check box to view lot information for all lot ID's. This check box is selected by default.

Lot ID

Enter a lot ID, or click the Lookup button to select a lot ID. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Lots check box.

All Manufacturer Lots

Select this check box to view lot information for all manufacturer lots. This check box is selected by default.

Lot

Enter a manufacturer lot for which to view lot information, or click the Lookup button to select a manufacturer lot. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Manufacturer Lots check box.

All Lot Expiration Dates

Select this check box to view lot information for all lot expiration dates. This check box is selected by default.

From

Enter the first lot expiration date for the range of dates for which you want to view lot information, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Lot Expiration Dates check box.

To

Enter the last lot expiration date for the range of dates for which you want to view lot information, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Lot Expiration Dates check box.

All (User Defined 1-10)

Select these check box to view lot information if you do not want to filter by user-defined fields. These check boxes are selected by default. For information on setting up user-defined fields for lots, see User Defined Fields Maintenance.

User Defined 1-10

Enter filter criteria based on user-defined fields. These fields are only available if you clear the appropriate All check boxes. For information on setting up user-defined fields for lots, see User Defined Fields Maintenance.

Primary Sort Option

Click the Lookup button to select the first method for sorting lots in the Lot Detail grid. You can sort by product code, location prefix, lot ID, or lot expiration date.

Secondary Sort Option

Click the Lookup button to select the second method for sorting lots in the Lot Detail grid. You can sort by product code, location prefix, lot ID, or lot expiration date.

Lot Detail Tab Fields and Buttons

Lot Detail

This grid displays lot information based on the criteria selected on the Select tab. Double-click a lot to display Bin Maintenance, which allows you to manage bins.

Primary Sort Option
