Orders for Items

To use Orders for Items, click the Previous Products button in the ribbon in O/E Line Item Entry.

Purpose

View previous orders for products, and add the products to a new order.

Overview

Use Orders for Items to display previous orders for a selected product, and add line items for the product to a new order. This window is especially helpful if you are processing a return order and want to associate a returned item with a previous order.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
OK	Click this button to close the Orders for Items window, and accept any new line items you have added. After you click this button, any newly added line items will appear in O/E Line Item Entry.
Delete Selected Item	Click this button to remove the line item selected in the New Line Items for New Order grid.
Re-Price	Click this button to recalculate the price of order line items. This is generally used in conjunction with mix and match or family code pricing. For information on setting up family code pricing, see Family Price Maintenance. For more information on pricing, see Price Logic FAQ.
Price Matrix	Click this button to display Order Entry Item Price Lookup, which allows you to view applicable price matrixes for the selected product. This window also identifies the price source of the product.
Edit Sample Reason	Click this button to display Order Entry Sample Data Input, which allows you to enter sample data for a sample order line item. This button is only available if you are entering a sample order.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Item #/Name	Enter a product number or name, or click the Lookup buttons to select a product number or name.
Elements	Click this button to display the Product Prompting dialog box.
Show Only Selected Product	Select this check box to only display the selected product in the Existing Line Items for Item grid.
Recalculate Price/Leave Price As is	Select Recalculate Price to recalculate the price for products you are adding to a new order, or select Leave Price As is to use the same price as the original order.
Existing Line Items	This grid displays all the orders for the selected product. Enter a quantity in the New Qty column for a line item you want to add to the new order, and then double-click the product.
New Line Items for New Order	This grid displays products you are adding to the new order. Enter the appropriate values for the product. If you change the price, MANUAL appears in the Price Source column.
