Before using this import, the following must be set up:
products, locations, or product categories
units of measure
The values entered for the Product Code, Location, Category, Unit of Measure, Putaway Group Name, Primary Pick Bin, and Primary Pick Zone fields must be valid (if entered).
To acquire a thorough understanding of the fields and buttons required for creating a product/unit of measure record, see Product Maintenance or Product Location Maintenance. The two windows are equivalent with the exception of location-specific fields and buttons defined in Product Location Maintenance.
There must be a record of blank space(s) at the end of an import file.
This import updates product units of measure in the order that they are found in the import file without considering future lines. If you set units of measure as a default unit of measure in multiple lines, the unit of measure in the last line is used as the default.
